National Assembly Approve Over 40 Issues
DUSHANBE, 25.12.2018 (NIAT Khovar) – The members of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly have discussed and approved over 40 issues relating to the political, economic, social and cultural life of the country during its seventh session today.
The Chairman of the National Assembly Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev presided over the session. The Chairmen of the Committees of the National Assembly Ozoda Rahmon, Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda, Farhod Rahimi, Muhammadyusuf Imomzoda and Rahmonali Amirzoda commented on the issues in the session’s agenda.
Ozoda Rahmon commented on several state laws, including “On making amendments to the Civil Code of the Republic of Tajikistan” and “On making amendments to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.”
The National Assembly also approved decrees relating to the recall and election of judges of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan, structural issues, the number of and the responsibilities and duties of the employees of the National Assembly. The budget of the National Assembly for 2019 was also considered and approved during the session.
