Tajikistan, Romania Plan to Sign a Cooperation Agreement
DUSHANBE, 05.12.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Cezar-Manole Armeanu, Ambassador of Romania to Tajikistan, met on December 5 in Dushanbe to discuss trade and economic relations.
Before proceeding to the discussion, Tajik Minister Nematullo Hikmatullozoda congratulated the Ambassador of Romania as a representative of all Romanians with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the state, reported the Press Center of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.
“The parties discussed trade and economic relations, including the creation of a legal framework with the signing of the Agreement on Cooperation and, on its basis, the creation of an Intergovernmental Commission,” noted the Ministry’s report.
The discussion also focused on attracting foreign investments and modern technologies, the creation of joint ventures, cooperation in agriculture and the development of tourism.
The parties expressed their readiness to further develop cooperation following the meeting.
