Emomali Rahmon on the Modern World and Foreign Policy
DUSHANBE, 23.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – A new 222-page book by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon On the Modern World and the Main Aspects of Foreign Policy of the Republic of Tajikistan was published in Russian by Contrast Publishing House in Dushanbe.
The book contains the texts of all foreign policy segments of the annual State of the Nation Address by Emomali Rahmon to the Parliament from 2000 to 2018.
The book allows the interested reader to directly obtain reliable and deeper knowledge of the conceptual framework, nature, main directions, topical issues and international initiatives of Tajikistan. The country’s foreign policy potential, the evolution of foreign policy doctrine, basic foreign policy priorities, characteristic features of economic diplomacy and foreign economic strategy of the state are also discussed in the book.
The presidential collection was published by the editorial board of the newspaper Narodnaya Gazeta (People’s Newspaper), the printing body of the Government of Tajikistan. The author of the book’s preface, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Senior Advisor to the Office of Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Foreign Relations Zafar Sayidzoda and Candidate of Political Science, Editor-in-Chief of Narodnaya Gazeta Mahbuba Kamolova compiled the book.
