Tajikistan Presents its Tourism Potential in Moscow
DUSHANBE, 25.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Embassy of Tajikistan in Russian in coordination with the Office of the Chairman of the Sughd Province held a forum called Tourism Opportunities of Tajikistan on Thursday in Moscow.
About seventy representatives of Russian state bodies, leading Russian travel agencies, airlines and the media, as well as more than ten tour operators of Tajikistan took part in the forum, reported the Tajik Embassy in Moscow.
Representatives of Tajik travel agencies, such as the Zarafshon Tourism Development Association, Artuch Mountaineering Base, Shifo Sanatorium, Tourist Organizations such as Bunyod-Tour, Bozori Voru, Chil Mehrob, Sarazm, Kuhandiz and Avitkon presented in detail about their activities and favorable conditions for the reception of guests, suggested tourist destinations, historical, cultural and entertainment facilities.
Those in attendance had the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich historical and cultural heritage, vast opportunities for tourism and the development of Tajikistan.
Representatives of Tajik and Russian tour operators discussed further cooperation.
The participants were also shown videos about natural, cultural and entertainment sites, historical and architectural monuments, as well as tourist maps, booklets, and other printed material related to Tajikistan.
