DUSHANBE, 23.01.2019. (NIAT Khovar) — The Committee for Tourism Development (CTD) is getting ready to announce the results of the contests which took place in 2018.

A conference to summarize the results of the contests in the field of tourism will be held on January 26 at the Dushanbe Hyatt Regency Hotel, reported the Press Center of the CTD.

The contests’ categories include: “The Best Travel Agency in the Foreign Direction,” “The Best Travel Agency in the Domestic Direction,” “The Best Travel Agency on Gaining International Experience,” “The Best Guide,” “The Best Sanatorium,” “The Best Hotel,” “The Best Stone Designer,” “The Best Artisan for Making Souvenirs for Tourists,”, “The Best Development of the Complex Seven Pearls of Tajikistan.”

The contests were organized in order to implement the initiatives of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the development of tourism, bettering the presentation of the tourism potential of Tajikistan, the revival and development of folk crafts, and the improvement of the country’s touristic image.
