Tajikistan’s Energy Efficiency Will Be the Center of Discussion
DUSHANBE, 27.02.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan will arrange an informational event on March 6 in Dushanbe in order to discuss the issues relating to the economy and efficient use of energy in the country.
The event’s goal is to fulfill the requirements of Article 9 of the Law of Tajikistan “On saving and efficient use of energy” and on the basis of coordination with the country’s government on the establishment of an inter-agency working group on the implementation of initiatives on renewable energy sources.
During the event, information and communication methods on the efficient use of energy in Tajikistan will be presented.
Representatives of relevant ministries and departments, media, non-governmental organizations, development partners, national and international experts are expected to take part in the event.
