Chinese Company Plans to Assist the Tajik Textile Industry
DUSHANBE, 06.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda received a delegation of Chinese businessmen headed by the manager of trade issues at the China Machinery Industry Construction Group Inc. Hu Sin on Tuesday.
The Chinese company is expected to assist the Sino Tojikiston Kulob Textile Industry Park and its subsidiaries in attracting direct foreign investment for processing cotton fiber. The sought for financing is $300 million. The Tajik company plans to create a total of 5,500 jobs and to process 35,000 tons of cotton fiber annually, reported the Press Center of the Tajik Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
Sino Tojikiston Kulob Textile Industry Park is located in the Kulob free economic zone.
