DUSHANBE, 28.03.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – On March 28, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presided over a session of the government of Tajikistan.

At the start, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nematullo Hikmatullozoda read his report “On the Timely Preparation of the Economic and Social Spheres of the Republic for the Uninterrupted and Efficient Operation in the Autumn-Winter Period of 2019 – 2020.”

It was stressed that the purpose of developing a draft of a decree of the government of the Republic of Tajikistan is to identify instructions and measures related to the preparation of the country’s economic and social sectors for the autumn-winter period of 2019-2020. It was noted that headquarters will be established to coordinate the work in this direction.

The Mister of Finance Faiziddin Qahhorzoda delivered a report “’On the Draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Making Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan,’’ ‘On the State Budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2019’ and ‘’On the Draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Making Changes and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan,’ ‘On Other Compulsory Payments to the Budget.’”

The Minister of Energy and Water Resources Usmonali Usmonzoda reported “’On the Draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Drinking-Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal.’” The Minister of Healthcare and Social Protection of the Population Nasim Olimzoda reported “’On the Draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Providing the Population with Food Fortification,’” and the Minister of Industry and Modern Technologies Zarobiddin Fayzulozod spoke about “The Light Industry Development Program in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2020.”

The meeting also focused on the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “’On Making Changes and Addenda to the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Administrative Offenses’” and the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Making Changes and Addenda to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Inspection of Economic Entities’ Activities.’” They also discussed the government’s proposal regarding the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Pastures.”  The bills were sent to the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly for consideration.

At the end of the meeting, President Emomali Rahmon gave specific instructions to the responsible individuals for the timely fulfillment of tasks set at the meeting and the implementation of the preparation works for the winter heating season and the continuation of preparatory measures taken for the 30th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
