President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the President of Mongolia Battulga Khaltmaa
DUSHANBE, 26.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting with the President of Mongolia Battulga Khaltmaa. The discussion focused on the state of bilateral relations and their development prospects, particularly in trade, economy, sciences and culture.
“We are happy to have this opportunity to discuss bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Mongolia at the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, which serves as an important factor for strengthening ties,” said President Emomali Rahmon, adding that “the Tajik side is interested in its development prospects.”
The heads of state expressed their satisfaction with the level of the Tajik-Mongolian relations and cooperation, especially in the context of regional and international organizations such as the UN and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
President Emomali Rahmon proposed intensifying the use of opportunities and resources in order to strengthen bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
