Tajik-Uzbek Delegations Meet in Samarkand to Discuss State Border Issue
DUSHANBE, 19.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The meeting of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan delegations on the organizational and juridical issues of demarcation of the Tajik-Uzbek state border was held from April 11 to April 17 in Samarkand.
During the talks, which were held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, the parties prepared draft normative and technical documents on the demarcation of the Tajik-Uzbek state border, as well as agreed on the schedule of field work, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A protocol was signed following the meeting.
According to the agreement, the next meeting of the delegations of the two countries will be held in Tajikistan in the second half of May of this year.
