Dushanbe and Nanjing Police Will Exchange Experience
DUSHANBE, 13.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The head of Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dushanbe Sharif Nazarzoda met with the head of the Nanjing Public Security Department Sun Jiang on Friday.
The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the police authorities of Dushanbe and the police of Nanjing in studying the experience of cooperation and establishing relations of police with the population, organizing cultural ties between the authorities of the two countries, sharing experience in combating organized crime, extremist and terrorist groups, cybercrime, as well as retraining, training seminars for the capital’s police officers in the police training centers of Nanjing, as well as other issues related to the activities of the police.
Following the talks, the parties concluded that the meetings and official visits will be arranged annually, whereupon their experiences in the field of crime reduction will be exchanged.
According to the protocol, which was signed during the visit of the delegation of Dushanbe’s police to Nanjing, the issue of technical assistance by Nanjing Public Security Department to the police of Dushanbe was discussed.
Following the agreement, Nanjing’s delegation delivered technical assistance in the amount of over two million somoni. Following the meeting, the head of the Nanjing Public Security Department Sun Jiang and the head of a department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dushanbe Sharif Nazarzoda signed a bilateral act to receive technical assistance.
