DUSHANBE, 01.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent his greetings to the Emperor Naruhito of Japan.
The message reads in part:

With splendid pleasure, on behalf of the government of Tajikistan and its people, I sincerely congratulate You on Your accession to the throne of the Emperor of Japan.
The Republic of Tajikistan has identified the strengthening and development of relations of friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Japan as one of the priorities of its foreign policy.
I am convinced that during Your reign, together we will raise the level of partnership between our countries to even higher levels. For our part, we will make every effort to strengthen the good relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and Japan.
