President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon Inaugurated Military Lyceum Named After Kurushi Kabir (Cyrus the Great)
DUSHANBE, 28.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Emomali Rahmon accompanied by Dushanbe Chairman Rustam Emomali attended an official opening ceremony of the Military Lyceum named after Kurushi Kabir (Cyrus the Great) of the Main Border Guards Directorate of the State Committee for National Security.
The lyceum consists of three two-story buildings and covers 1360 square meters, which is composed of a separate classrooms, library and modern hostel.
Every year, the Military Lyceum can accommodate up to 100 school students finishing the 9th grade. The military lyceum will be enrolling orphans and half-orphans. The classes will be conducted in Tajik.
The lyceum features state-of-the-art equipment. The cadets will be able to learn English, Russian, Chinese and Turkish languages.
After graduation, the cadets can continue their education in higher military institutions of Tajikistan and abroad, including the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan and other countries according to bilateral agreement.
Following the inspection, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon praised the completed work and gave instructions on training of students in the spirit of patriotism and national consciousness.
