Russia Intends to Build Wholesale Distribution Center in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 16.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) — Today, following the meeting with President Emomali Rahmon, the Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev noted that a wide range of issues relating to cooperation between the two countries in the agrarian sphere, including the possibility of building a wholesale distribution center in Tajikistan were discussed.
“The issues relating to livestock breeding and seed production were also discussed. The discussed issues will be implemented soon in the framework of close cooperation between the Ministries of Agriculture of Tajikistan and Russia,” said Patrushev.
Today, Patrushev will also visit Khatlon. He will hold a series of meetings with the leadership of the province.
The parties are expected to exchange their views on the development of cooperation in the agricultural sector, increasing exports of agricultural products, processing goods and other issues.
Patrushev will visit seasonal greenhouses, orchards, vegetable fields and lemon greenhouses in the districts of Kushoniyon, Jaloliddini Balkhi, Dusti and Jayhun.
