Tajik Foreign Minister Muhriddin Attended the Ministerial Meeting on Drug Control Cooperation
DUSHANBE, 03.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin attended and addressed the 11th ministerial meeting of the states party to the Memorandum of Understanding on Dubregional Drug Control Cooperation today in Tashkent.
In his statement, Muhriddin touched upon the initiatives and contributions of Tajikistan in combating illicit drug trafficking and organized crime.
He invited participants to take part in the high-level conference International and Regional Cooperation on Countering Terrorism and Its Financing Through Illicit Drug Trafficking and Organized Crime, which will be held on May 16-17 in Tajikistan’s capital.
The Declaration on Strengthening Cooperation in Countering Illicit Trafficking of Drugs and Precursors, and the Abuse of Drugs and Psychotropic Substances was adopted following the meeting.
