Amonatbonk Signs a $10,000,000 Loan Greement with Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank
DUSHANBE, 21.06.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan’s Amonatbank and Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank signed a loan agreement in the amount of ten million dollars and an agreement to open correspondent accounts.
Amonatbonk’s Chairman Sirojiddin Ikromi and the Chairman of the Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank Aziz Vohidov signed the agreements, reported the Press Centre of Amonatbonk.
As part of the signing ceremony the parties also discussed issues relating to strengthening interbank cooperation.
Ikromi also met with the Chairman of the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan Alisher Mirsoatov in Tashkent.
During the discussion covered the issues relating to strengthening interbank relations based on the protocol of the meeting of the Tajik-Uzbek intergovernmental commission from April 3, 2019. Both parties exchanged their views on changing the terms of the loan agreement in the amount of $33 million.
Due to this, an additional agreement on introducing amendments and additions to the paragraphs of the loan agreement was prepared and signed.
