Varesh Airlines’ First Direct Flight from Mashhad Arrives in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 07.06.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Iranian Varesh Airlines carried out its first direct flight connecting Mashhad and Dushanbe.
The plane carrying 83 passengers arrived in Dushanbe International Airport at 11:26 local time and flew back to Mashad at 13:06 with 86 passengers on board.
“After the break, the flights connecting Mashhad and Dushanbe were reestablished within the framework of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran,” said the Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the government of Tajikistan Aziz Nabizoda in an interview with Khovar’s correspondent.
“A little earlier, the Tajik Civil Aviation Agency granted permission to the Iranian Varesh Airlines to carry out flights connecting Mashhad and Dushanbe. The flights on this route will be carried out once a week. The number of flights will be increased according to passenger demand,” added Nabizoda.
The flights connecting Dushanbe to Tehran and to Mashhad were carried out by Tajik Air and Iran’s Osmon Air.
