International Tourism Exhibition and Forum Tajikistan-2019 Opens in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 08.08.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The forum and the international tourism exhibition Tajikistan-2019 kicked off their work today in Dushanbe.
Representatives of industry branches of partner countries, international organizations, including the World Tourism Organization (WTO), travel agencies, hotels, boarding houses, resorts, associations, as well as international experts from 25 countries will take part in the events, reported the Committee for Tourism Development under the government of Tajikistan.
Earlier the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development Numon Abdugafforzoda said that Tajikistan plans to sign more than 30 documents on cooperation with foreign tourism companies within the forum’s framework.
Over 400 people are expected to visit the forum and the exhibition.
The aim of both events is to present Tajikistan’s tourism opportunities, sign agreements and attract investment in the tourism sector.
The forum will include four discussion panels, each on specific topics such as «Tourism is an important factor in expanding ties,» «Ecological tourism, climate and cultural-historical travels,» «Health tourism, health and recreation,» and «Development of folk crafts and economic incentives.»
An exhibition of tourist opportunities of Tajikistan will be organized in the Kurushi Kabir Recreation Park in Dushanbe.
