DUSHANBE, 27.08.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon accompanied by Dushanbe Chairman Rustami Emomali participated in the opening ceremony of the enterprise of drinking water and alcohol products «Siyoma» in metropolitan area of Ismoili Somoni.

The company was established by Avesto Group LLC within the framework of instructions of President Emomali Rahmon. The company is capable of producing and delivering 33 million liters of drinking water per year.

The installed technology was produced by the well-known French company Sidel and operates on the basis of modern international standards.

The production line filters the water with a four stage filter, including quartz, carbon, ceramic filtration and ionization. Along with this, to ensure product safety and protect consumers’ health, the newly created enterprise also uses an ozone water system.

The production of carbonated, non-carbonated and other drinks that are in great demand in plastic and glass containers of various sizes has been established, and their appearance and quality meet domestic and foreign standards. With the beginning of the enterprise’s activity, it will be possible to not only substitute imported products, but also to produce an export-oriented product line.

For its alcohol production, Siyoma uses high-quality products in its laboratory, which were purchased in Austria. The alcohol products produced at this enterprise are mainly intended for export.

President Emomali Rahmon praised the completed work and advised the responsible persons on efficient activities and on the production of competitive products.

Water for processing and production of final products is delivered from the Siyoma River.  Water from this river was included in the top ten best waters of the world at the International Water Tasting Competition held in 2001 in the United States. According to scientists, Siyoma water has a positive effect on a living organism and is very useful for strengthening the body, especially muscles, intestines, digestion and cleansing the body.

Since the fourth initiative of President Emomali Rahmon, the new International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028” is now being implemented on a global scale, and within its framework, to date; substantiated and constructive proposals have been put forward. Tajikistan has now become one of the political centers for discussing water issues at the global level.

The company will also contribute to the implementation of the “State Program on Export Promotion and Import Substitution in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2016–2020.»
