President Opens Zari Tojik Jewelers’ Enterprise and visits Asphalt Concrete Closed Joint-Stock Company in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 27.08.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon and Dushanbe chairman Rustam Emomali attended the opening ceremony for the Zari Tojik jewelers’ enterprise and got acquainted with the process of production of various jewelry products.
Zari Tojik is part of the Ravshan, which was established in 2012 in the city of Guliston, Sughd Province.
President Rahmon and Dushanbe Chairman Rustami Emomali examined the latest jewelry products at the exhibition. The company was opened to faciliate the achievement of the fourth national goal — rapid industrialization. Currently, the company employs 50 people, including 20 women.
The company produces finished products made from local gold, silver, brass and precious stones.
Taking into account the country’s abundance of raw materials, that is, gold, silver, precious metals and stones, and the great demand in the domestic and foreign markets for jewelry and decorating accessories, President Rahmon instructed the management of the company to increase the production of jewelry and the number of its employees.
Zari Tojik processes three kilograms of gold and five kilos of silver each month.
Next on schedule was the opening ceremony for the new Asphalt Concrete Closed Joint-Stock Company in Dushanbe.
The company imported its asphalt production equipment from Italy and Turkey. Its production capacity is 240 tons per hour, and about 2,000 tons per shift.
President Rahmon visited the company’s modern laboratory and got acquainted with the working conditions and its activity.
After familiarizing himself with the activities of the asphalt and concrete production company, President Rahmon praised Tohir Hukumatov for his constructive undertaking and support of the government policies and wished success to the employees.
