DUSHANBE, 10.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 10, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD = 9.6860 TJS,

1 Euro = 10.6846 TJS,

1 Russian ruble = 0.1467 TJS.

Also on September 10, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 9.6500 to 9.7000 TJS,

1 Euro – from 10.6400 to 10.7400 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1470 to 0.1484 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face punitive damages and criminal charges.
