President Emomali Rahmon Opens Municipal Children’s Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital
DUSHANBE, 01.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Dushanbe Chairman Rustam Emomali attended the opening ceremony of the Secondary Educational Institution No. 50 in the metropolitan area of Sino, where he talked with the local students and teachers and congratulated them with the Day of Knowledge.
The four-story building will accommodate 1,280 students in two shifts. The school was financed by the city of Dushanbe.
In its first year, the school had 196 graduates, of which 182, or 90%, moved on to higher educational institutions. Currently, 80% of which are women with great pedagogical experience.
This was followed by an opening ceremony for the new building of the municipal children’s infectious diseases clinical hospital.
The six story building, which was constructed in the metropolitan area of Firdavsi and is equipped with modern medical equipment and 200 beds for treating children.
The building of the functioning hospital was built in 1939 and functioned as an evacuation hospital during the years of World War II. The hospital has been operating from 1963 until today, that is, for 56 years.
While familiarizing himself with the working and service conditions in the hospital, the President Rahmon praised the quality of construction.
