WCO Secretary General Arrives in Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 23.09.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Secretary General of the World Customs Organization Kunio Mikuriya arrived in Tajikistan today on a three-day official visit.
Mikuriya is expected to meet with the country’s top leadership, the head of the Customs Service under the government of Tajikistan Khurshed Karimzoda, the Minister of Finance Fayziddin Kahhorzoda, the rector of the Tajik National University Muhammadyusuf Imomzoda, and the head of the Single Window State Unitary Enterprise.
As part of his official visit Mikuriya will visit the customs posts of the Terminal of the regional customs department of Dushanbe and the customs post Dusti of the regional customs department in Tursunzoda.
Mukiriya will also visit the Kokhi Navruz palace, vineyards in Tursunzoda and the Varzob gorge.
This is Mukuriya’s second trip to Tajikistan. His first visit took place five years ago in 2014.
