Belarusian President Congratulates Emomali Rahmon on his birthday
DUSHANBE, 05.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President Emomali Rahmon on his birthday and expressed his best wishes.
During the conversation, the Belarusian leader underscored the great role of the President of Tajikistan in establishing peace and national unity, ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of Tajikistan and strengthening its prestige in the international arena.
The heads of both states exchanged views on the current state and prospect of development of the whole range of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Belarus. In addition, special attention was paid to the course of implementation of agreements reached during previous meetings of the two presidents.
The counterparts also discussed certain aspect of international and regional issues of mutual interest.
