Khujand Will Host Business Forum of Tajik and Kyrgyz Travel Agencies
DUSHANBE, 03.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – A business forum of travel agencies of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will be held tomorrow in Khujand. The forum is organized by the Committee for Tourism Development of Tajikistan.
The forum aimes to effectively use the experience of both countries for the development of tourism trade entrepreneurship, to organize short-term courses for employees of tourism business entities, restaurants, hotels, boarding houses, entertainment centers, as well as to find modern methods of promoting tourism opportunities of both countries using information technology.
Tajik travel agencies are expected to sign a number of agreements and memorandums of cooperation with their Kyrgyz counterparts.
Considering the development of tourism and the wide opportunities of the two states, it seems important to intensify cooperation in the areas of health, historical and sports tourism.
The government of Tajikistan pays particular attention to the issues relating to further development and expansion of bilateral cooperation with Kyrgyzstan on a friendly and good-neighborly basis regarding the movement of citizens of the two states across the territories of both countries.
Tajikistan has favorable conditions for tourists, and important reforms are being implemented to improve all the areas of this sector.
