Tajik FM Muhriddin Attends Korean — Central Asia Cooperation Forum
DUSHANBE, 17.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in Nur-Sultan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin attended the 12th Korean — Central Asia Cooperation Forum.
In his speech Muhriddin stressed Tajikistan’s interest in the development of multifaceted cooperation within the forum, and use of its potential for strengthening cooperation and sustainable development in the region, reported the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Separate sessions on standardization, water and energy, green economy and IT-technologies were held within the forum.
The participants of the sessions emphasized the importance of the discussed issues and noted the need for specific projects that reflect the common interests of forum’s member states.
Following the event, a Joint Statement and the Forum Secretariat Work Plan for 2020 were adopted.
