President Emomali Rahmon Meets President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov
DUSHANBE, 27.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov met on the sidelines of the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Bishkek.
The discussion focused on a wide range of issues of cooperation at the bilateral level and within the framework of CSTO.
President Emomali Rahmon emphasized that Tajikistan is consistently being guided by the principles of friendship and neighborliness and attaches great importance to the development and strengthening of all aspects of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic.
The counterparts discussed issues related to trade, economy, science, technology, culture and humanitarian spheres.
The implementation of reached bilateral agreements related to the state border disputes was also included in the discussion.
A frank and constructive discussion took place on other issues of common interest.
