DUSHANBE, 07.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with representatives of Tajik science, culture and art circles in France. The meeting took place on November 7 within the framework of his official visit to France.

President Emomali Rahmon delivered his speech before Tajik nationals residing in France regarding the progress made in Tajikistan and expressed his satisfaction at having the opportunity to meet with compatriots living abroad.

President Emomali Rahmon focused on the achievements of the state and the Tajik people since independence, the 28th anniversary of the Tajikistan’s state independence which was celebrated this year and the upcoming celebration of the 30th anniversary of this historic date.

During the period of independence, the honorable Tajik people have achieved significant results in political, economic, social, scientific and cultural spheres thanks to strategic goals and state program set by the Government of Tajikistan.

He also mentioned the important international initiatives of Tajikistan addressing global challenges, the close and fruitful cooperation of the Tajik government with foreign countries and influential international organizations.

Following his speech the meeting participants expressed their gratitude to President Emomali Rahmon for his great attention to the compatriots.
