DUSHANBE, 10.12.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Members of the Council of the Assembly of Representatives of the Tajik Supreme Assembly discussed the draft law “On the System for Warning and Preventing Juvenile Delinquency.”

This issue was discussed yesterday during the council’s meeting chaired by the Assembly of Representatives’ Speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.

The draft was developed and approved for the practical implementation of the instructions of President Emomali Rahmon, which were voiced on April 23, 2014 in his Address to the Supreme Assembly on the prevention of youth and adolescent delinquency, which were submitted for consideration to the Assembly of Representatives.

The draft consists of an introduction, 4 chapters and 29 articles, and was developed considering the experience of foreign countries.

The purpose of this law is to establish and determine the competence of authorized state and non-state bodies and departments in ensuring awareness, preventing crime and other unlawful acts of minors.
