Economic Minister Zavqizoda Meets with Japanese Ambassador Miyashita
DUSHANBE, 29.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Zavqi Zavqizoda met with the Ambassador Japan to Tajikistan Takayuki Miyashita.
The meeting focused on the development of bilateral cooperation, including the organization of Tajik and Japanese intergovernmental commission, the expansion of JICA’s activities, as well as the development of foreign trade, attracting Japanese entrepreneurs and companies, the creation of enterprises in free economic zones, establishing cooperation in the field of agriculture and export of fresh organic agricultural products to Japan, cotton processing to final products using Japanese-made technologies, strengthening the work of business incubators, the presentation of Tajikistan in Japan and attracting Japanese tourists and other equally important issues, reports the Tajik Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to bring the quality of bilateral relations to a new level.
