Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development Amonzoda Receives German Tourism Expert Reitz
DUSHANBE, 13.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development under the government of Tajikistan Shirin Amonzoda received the German tourism expert Kurt Heinz Reitz.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the plans of the Tajik government geared toward tourism development, as well as on the ideas that could be implemented in Tajikistan, reports the Committee for Tourism Development.
Reitz expressed his interest in the areas of eco, health, historical and cultural tourism and noted his willingness to cooperate in the field of establishing international-level services in the tourist infrastructure of Tajikistan.
Reitz also mentioned his thoughts about the great potential of Tajikistan’s tourism sector and noted that he sees Tajikistan as one of the tourism leaders in the region.
The German expert is in Tajikistan by the invitation of a local company Go Travel Tajikistan. As part of his visit, Reitz is expected to meet with students majoring in tourism, and those working in travel agencies and local business circles.
