EBRD to Allocate $150 Million Obigarm-Nurobod Road Reconstruction
DUSHANBE, 01.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On January 31, A loan agreement was signed for $150 million between Tajikistan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The amount will go toward the construction and renovating the Obigarm — Nurobod road, specifically the 44 km of Tagikamar-Nurobod section with dual climate lines, 1 tunnel (2.6 km), 1 temporary bridge, and about 40 km of local roads, reports the Tajik Ministry of Finance.
The agreement was signed by the Tajik Minister of Finance Faiziddin Qahhorzoda and EBRD Permanent Representative in Tajikistan Ayten Rustamova.
