Elections Commission Registers 36 International Observers
DUSHANBE, 05.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – To date, the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER) of Tajikistan has registered 36 international observers and giving them an international observer’s accreditation certificate in order to ensure transparency and openness of the elections for the deputies of the Assembly of Representatives.
International observers include the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, the CIS Executive Committee, Belarus, and the diplomatic corps accredited in Tajikistan, reports the CCER.
Today, the CCER adopted a resolution on the accreditation of international observers from the CIS Executive Committee consisting of 8 people and Belarus consisting of 2 people.
Accreditation of other international observers is underway.
