Emomali Rahmon Extends Condolences to Abdel Fattah al-Sisi Over the Death of Former President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak
DUSHANBE, 25.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of condolences to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The condolences message reads, in part:
«Excellency,
We feel deeply saddened by the news of the passing of the former head of state of Egypt Muhammad Hosni Mubarak.
Muhammad Hosni Mubarak was an outstanding statesman who determined the nature and content of an entire phase of development of Egypt, having a high international esteem as a farsighted politician.
We appreciate the efforts of Hosni Mubarak to strengthen and expand Tajik-Egyptian relations of friendship and multifaceted cooperation. We are respectful of his personality.
In this hour of grief, I express my words of sincere sympathy to the friendly people of Egypt and wish patience to his family and friends.
