President Emomali Rahmon Signs Instruction on Holding the Republican Contest «Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland»
DUSHANBE, 05.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed an instruction On Holding the Republican Contest «Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland» in 2020, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the state independence.
The decision was taken with the goal of discovering new talents, developing their professional skills, enhancing their professional status, strengthening professionalism of performing arts and creating new pieces of music, finding the best melodies and songs that embody independence’ achievements, new Tajik statehood and propagation of valuable national traditions and the rich heritage of our ancestors.
Corresponding instructions have been sent to the Ministries of Culture, Education and Science, Committee for TV and Radio Broadcasting, Comittees of Youth Affairs and Sports, Women and Family Affairs and the authorities of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province, Sughd and Khatlon Province, Dushanbe, cities and districts to ensure compliance with the requirements, and to take measures to attract the greatest number of art and music lovers and encourage the winners of the first and second rounds and their mentors with cash prizes, diplomas and thanks.
The Ministry of Finance has been instructed to allocate 2,140,000 somoni in cash from the Presidential Fund for the winners.
