Tajikistan, UN Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation
DUSHANBE, 26.02.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan met with the UNDP Permanent Representative in Tajikistan Pratibha Mehta.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of the National Development Strategy of Tajikistan for the period until 2030, the Medium-Term Development Program of Tajikistan for 2016-2020, assistance in the development of the Medium-Term Development Program of Tajikistan for 2021-2025 and the development of the Medium-Term Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in Tajikistan for 2021-2025, as well as the forecast of macroeconomic indicators, improvement of macroeconomic models and the development of cooperation in the priority areas.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop further cooperation.
