PM Rasulzoda Meets with CIS Executive Secretary Lebedev
DUSHANBE, 03.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda met with the Chairman of the Executive Committee — Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Head of the CIS International Observer Mission Sergey Lebedev.
The meeting focused on the process of holding the elections and the results of elections to the Assembly of Representatives and local Assemblies of People’s Deputies.
While highly assessing the preparation and holding of elections in Tajikistan, Lebedev noted that they were held in compliance with the requirements of the country’s legislation and international standards.
Rasulzoda also met with a group of Russian Federal Assembly’s observers headed by the Chairman of the Federal Assembly’s Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian integration and relations with the citizens Leonid Kalashnikov.
