President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon Had a Telephone Conversation with Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov
DUSHANBE, 28.03.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with President of Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
The two presidents discussed the latest developments around the coronavirus pandemic. It was agreed to close collaboration to prevent of the spread of the cross-border COVID19 infection.
In this context, the Head of our state expressed Tajikistan’s readiness to take joint steps in fighting the coronavirus with all countries of the region.
During the telephone conversation the two sides also discussed issues pertaining to further development and strengthening of cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
They also touched upon the stepping up of activities of the Intergovernmental Commission on delimitation and demarcation of the Tajik-Kyrgyz State Borders.
