Over 6.3 Million Somoni Transferred to the COVID-19 Fund Accounts
DUSHANBE, 13.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The COVID-19 Fund accounts, which have been opened by the Central Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Tajikistan, have received 6.3 million somoni.
All these funds will be spent on behalf of the republican COVID-19 prevention commission and at the request of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
A report on the use of these funds will be published on the websites of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health.
Also, the spending of these funds will be controlled by the Accounts Chamber and the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight Against Corruption.
The accounts were opened on behalf of the Tajik government in order to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
