Amonatbonk Provided 3.4 Million Loan for Tourism Development and Folk Crafts

DUSHANBE, 21.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – This year Amonatbank provided 3.4 million somoni in loans for 178 entrepreneurs in connection with the announcement of 2019-2021 as the Years of Rural Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts.
“Amonatbonk’s loan portfolio amounted to 691.2 million somoni and the number of borrowers on the balance was more than 32,400 people from various filds of activity, including 16% to those dealing in consumer goods, 7.4% in construction, 27.1% in trade, 9.4% in transportation and 3.1% for other services, such as tourism, healthcare, and catering,” said Amonatbank’s Chairman Sirojiddin Ikromi at a press conference today.
According to him, the bank serves 22,000 enterprises and organizations and 743,000 retirees of social protection and law enforcement agencies, more than 1.6 million depositors through 75 branches and 546 banking service centers with a total of 2,800 employees across the country.
As of June 30, Amonatbonk’s assets amounted to 4.2 billion somoni and its liabilities amounted to 3.8 billion somoni. The bank’s liquidity was maintained at a high level and the funds were transferred to the appropriate accounts on time. During this period, the bank’s capital increased by 6.6% and amounted to 444.6 million somoni. Its net income amounted to 23.9 million somoni, which is 17.5% more than the same period last year.
