President Emomali Rahmon Holds Telephone Conversation With Russian President Vladimir Putin
DUSHANBE, 13.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The counterparts discussed current issues relating to the Tajik-Russian strategic partnership and exchanged views on issues in the international and regional agendas.
The two sides expressed concern over the situation with the coronavirus infection which remains extremely tense on a global scale, and exchanged information on measures taken to lower the risk of spread of COVID-19 in the two countries.
In this context, President Rahmon stressed the importance of accelerating healthcare cooperation between the two countries.
While exchanging opinions on positive developments of Tajik – Russian ties they expressed satisfaction over the trade and economy, cultural and humanitarian and security cooperation.
The two presidents shared their opinions on the continuation of the fruitful partnership between the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations.
