President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon Holds Telephone Conversation with the Russian President Vladimir Putin
DUSHANBE, 02.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
At the beginning of the conversation, President Emomali Rahmon warmly congratulated Vladimir Putin on the successful completion of the nationwide vote on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, and noted that the high voter turnout is another striking evidence of the firm support of the policy chosen by the country’s leadership to strengthen the Russian statehood.
It was also emphasized that constitutional amendments will serve as a new impetus to the process of sustainable development of the country and will certainly serve the interests of all citizens of Russia. In this context, President Emomali Rahmon wished the friendly people of Russia peace, well-being and further prosperity.
The counterparts also touched upon other topical issues in the regional and international agenda.
