DUSHANBE, 10.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Earlier today Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of greetings to President of​ the​ Republic of​ Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on winning the election.

The message read:

Dear Alexander Grigoryevich,​

Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of your re-election to the high office of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Your victory in the presidential election is a sign of public recognition of your enormous contribution to development and strengthening of foundations of sovereign Belarusian state as well as confirmation of the correctness of the far-sighted policy chosen by you on this path aimed at consistently improving the welfare of the country’s population and its authority in the international arena.

It is gratifying to note our joint work to expand and deepen the whole range of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus, which is now successfully developing in the spirit of strategic partnership.

We are optimistic about the foreseeable future of multifaceted relations between the two states, and we see the main task for the coming period in their productive multiplication with new creative examples of cooperation for the benefit of our peoples. I express my readiness for further joint actions in this direction.
