Presidential Election Day Scheduled for October 11

DUSHANBE, 06.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Presidential election is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2020. This is stated in the joint decree of the National and Representative Assemblies, which was adopted today during the second joint session of both houses.
The session’s agenda included issues relating to the approval of presidential decrees dismissing Nasim Olimzoda from the post of the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population and on appointing Jamoliddin Abdullozoda as Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population, as well the appointment of presidential elections.
National and Representative Assemblies approved all considered issues following the session.
