Sughd Region Is Ready to Cooperate with Ukrainian Investors in Agriculture and Industry

DUSHANBE, 19.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Chairman of Sughd region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda met with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Tajikistan Vasily Servatyuk.
“Sughd has great potential and Ukrainian investors can establish effective cooperation with the region in the fields of agriculture, industry and pharmaceuticals,” said Ahmadzoda.
While recalling the friendly relations between Tajikistan and Ukraine, the two parties exchanged views on the expansion of cooperation and strengthening of economic relations.
Tajikistan has favorable conditions for the processing and packaging of fruits and vegetables, honey, cotton and the establishment of joint ventures in the production of clothing and pharmaceuticals, and the parties can expand bilateral relations through the implementation of joint projects.
Servatyuk expressed his country’s readiness to strengthen cooperation.
The agricultural products of Tajikistan are environmentally friendly and can be processing in various ways for export.
The two parties also discussed prospects for cooperation and expressed interest in improving trade and economic ties.
