DUSHANBE, 01.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part in the opening ceremony of a state medical college in Dushanbe. He was accompanied by the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali.

The construction of the school which will accommodate 3,500 students started in 2014. While there, President Rahmon met with its teachers.

While discussing harvesting of herbal medicinal products, it was noted that 16 types of medicines are produced from medicinal plants in the college laboratory.

This was followed by the opening ceremony of the Kindergarten of the SEI Dushanbe International School, constructed in Shohmansur district by a local entrepreneur Sherali Kholov.

All conditions were created at the 120-seat kindergarten. All classes in the kindergarten were supplied with necessary equipment. The study process here is carried out in accordance with the public norms where classes are conducted in English.

Next, President Rahmon attended the opening of a cold storage​ complex Markazi Savdoi Dehkon built in the Shohmansur district by a local entrepreneur Firuza Masieva.

The total capacity of the cooling complex is 3,000 tonnes. It is designed for long-term and loss-free storage of fruits and vegetables grown by local farmers, which will be made available to the public year-round.

After that, President Rahmon visited the Ismoili Somoni district and attended the opening ceremony of the medical and diagnostic center founded by Samti Rushd.

The center’s laboratory can conduct biochemical, microbiological, immunological, and pathological analyses. The laboratories are fitted with state-of-the-art foreign medical equipment.

The center called Ahvar-Ahvat has close cooperation with well-known health care institutions of developed countries, and on this basis there is a wide opportunity to share experiences.
