Rustam Emomali Receives Uzbekistan’s Legislative Chamber Delegation

DUSHANBE, 21.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Chairman of the National Assembly Rustam Emomali received Uzbekistan’s Legislative Chamber delegation headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Chamber Ulugbek Inoyatov.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the current state and prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
It was noted, in recent years, thanks to the political will of presidents Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, increasingly strengthened relations, which are exploring new horizons.
The parties paid special attention to the development and expansion of cooperation in many areas, in particular parliamentary.
It was emphasized that in the field of parliamentary cooperation, the priority areas are very wide, including they cover political, economic, social, humanitarian and other spheres.
It was noted that the attention of entrepreneurs of the two states to integration and expansion of mutually beneficial practical cooperation in all sectors of the economy is increasing.
In this regard, first of all, it is necessary to establish a mechanism for the practical activities of friendship groups and inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The parties also noted that they will mobilize all available opportunities and resources to fill inter-parliamentary cooperation with new content, which is a modern requirement.
