Tajik and Indian FMs Meet in Moscow

DUSHANBE, 10.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Mukhriddin met with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Moscow on the sidelines of the SCO Foreign Ministers Council meeting.
The ministers discussed the state and further development of multifaceted Tajik-Indian relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and military-technical spheres.
They also had an exchange of views on a number of issues relating to the regional security and cooperation of countries within international organizations.
Jaishankar conveyed sincere congratulations to Muhriddin on the occasion of Independence Day of Tajikistan.
Muhriddin, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Indian side for the humanitarian aid provided to Tajikistan to combat the spread of the coronavirus infection.
