Shavkat Mirziyoyev Congratulates Emomali Rahmon on His Birthday

DUSHANBE, 05.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
President Mirziyoyev congratulated President Rahmon with his birthday, wishing him good health, success in his government post and prosperity in everything, while to the people of Tajikistan he wished peace, stability and ever-increasing prosperity.
The two leaders also considered various aspects of the Tajik-Uzbek multifaceted cooperation.
In this context, President Rahmon emphasized the importance of deepening ties of friendship and good neighborliness between the two countries. He also noted that Tajikistan is ready to continue to work closely with the Uzbek side to achieve set goals.
The counterparts also exchanged views on topical issues of both international and regional agenda.
