DUSHANBE, 17.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 16, the Assistant to the President of Tajikistan for Social Development and Public Relations Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda held a working meeting of the Commission on the Phased Distribution of Ghafurov’s Book the Tajiks. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chief of the Presidential Executive Office Sadi Kodirzoda.

Rahmonzoda who noted that per President Emomali Rahmon’s instruction, in order to in-depth study of the glorious history of the Tajik people, the imperishable work of Academician Gafurov — the book Tajiks will be published at the expense of the President’s reserve fund. On behalf of President Rahmon the book will be distributed to all families before the celebration of the 30th anniversary of independence.

Nashriyoti Muosir CJSC has started publishing the book with a meaningful foreword by President Rahmon. To date, the publishing house has published 15,000 copies.

The distribution of the book will begin from the Murghab and Vanj districts of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region. A caravan full of books will be sent to these remote regions soon.

Rahmonzoda instructed the commission members to deliver the books that will be published in a total of 1,600,000 copies in accordance with the established procedure.

Rahmonzoda expressed his confidence that this will further deepen the people’s knowledge of the history of their nation.
